MAP Office is a multi-disciplinary platform devised by Laurent Gutierrez and Valérie Portefaix. This artistic duo has been based in Hong Kong since 1996, working on physical and imaginary territories using varied means of expression.

MAP Office presents Concrete Jungle, a series of photographs which includes the muted sound of insects. The photographs depict lush, tropical greenery growing from the concrete ground around the Peak on Hong Kong Island, which has been inscribed with white lines depicting foliage. Concrete Jungle implies a veneer of modernist control, over which a tropical paradise is constrained.
