Ho Sin Tung was born in Hong Kong in 1986. She began her artistic training at age three when she attended workshops at the studio of Hong Kong painter Gaylord Chan. She graduated with a BFA from Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2008. She predominantly uses pencil, graphite and watercolour in combination with found and ready-made images to reinterpret and narrate stories of places, relationships and periods of time often within a considered, objective historical setting. Her faux film posters allow her to imagine a cinematic world in which the unreal can be every bit as real as the one we all inhabit.
